Turkey No How?

I went grocery shopping for my turkey today and bought a frozen one, no big deal. However, once I brought it home, I have NO idea whether or not to leave it out on the counter during the day or just leave it in the fridge until Thursday. I'm pretty sure tomorrow I'm supposed to put it in water all day...something like that. I can't remember. I've only cooked a turkey one other time in my life and that was two years ago. I tried calling my mom tonight, but the phone is busy and I'm ready to go to bed, so I guess it'll have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully it'll thaw ok and be ready to cook Thursday!
