Maybe not...

Well, it looks like I've already failed myself in writing everyday. It turns out, I'm busier than I ever really think I am. Or it's the fact that I'm skipping a workout today and doing this instead. I got dressed to walk on the treadmill, put my shoes on, and then decided I wanted to do nothing instead. So this is what I'm doing. I have the cold from hell also, not to mention it is quite the dreary rainy day...and I go to the gym tomorrow anways, so I'm not that worried about it.

I have some pictures of Eden 2 or 3 weeks ago that I've been meaning to put up. She's quite the scavenger when it comes to food on your plate. We had s'mores as dessert and I was sitting on the floor playing with her while eating them, and when I put my plate down...this is what we got.

She's also very curious about what's in the pantry....

And more importantly....what's in the bathroom??

Would you know that the last place I want her to go is into the bathroom?? I NEVER let her go in there. Why? Because, let's face it, boys are gross and you know there has to be pee all over the floor to some degree. And I don't want that all over her hands and I sure the hell don't mop daily nor plan too.

WAY too long

It's been entirely WAY too long since I have posted. And although you all might not have been missing all that much of my life, I clearly have missed out on a lot as far as blogging goes. Why? They've changed the format and I feel like I don't know what the hell I'm doing now! I don't think it's really that much different, maybe if I spend the time to actually screw with it.

Life is going to hopefully feel somewhat normal for the next 3 months, maybe longer, which will hopefully help get me back to posting. John got put on a day shift at LEAST until the end of July (hopefully until our time is up), so it'll be nice to have him home by 4-4:30 every day and off on weekends. The only thing I'll miss are his 4 day weekends, but I won't miss them that much to want him back on shift work.

Eden is growing up way too fast. I can't believe that she is coming up on 10 months old already. She's the master of the army crawl and not much else. She does everything on her own timeline and is happy doing just that. I personally think she'll be much happier once she can walk, but that's just because she'll be able to get into everything she's not supposed to (that she doesn't already get into).

John is still on the hunt for a job post Navy. He has had a few calls and phone screens/interviews but nothing that has lead to a job offer. He interviewed with GE in Cincinnati and the guy wanted to bring him in for an interview, but HR said he was available too far out and they needed someone sooner, hence him not getting the job. However, the guy said he'd be in touch again in July to see if John has had any offers or not and to see if they have anything for him if not. So that's always a positive. I'm not stressing too much about it, although I hope we find something sooner than later.
