Rather than do a movie rental on Saturday night and dinner out, we decided that we'd eat in (since we have to eat out on Wednesday for John's work) and play a board game. We own no board games, so we decided we'd look for some at Wal-mart.
We looked at all of them and didn't really find any that seemed fun for just the 2 of us to play, most seemed geared toward group play. So we decided on card games, but not playing cards. We got Scrabble Slam, Monopoly Deal, and some other game called Toss Up (that we've still yet to play). We played Scrabble Slam for over an hour last night and had a lot of fun with it. Today, we played Monopoly Deal and liked it too. Too bad for whatever reason, the Gods do not want me to win at Monopoly or any form of it ever. But, oh well...I will win...someday.
